Skywords Adds Three New Low-Noise Amps to Wireless Frequencies
By Loring Wirbel | February 1, 2012
Skyworks Solutions Inc., a specialist in precision analog components for wireless applications, has added three new low-noise amps to its portfolio of components for wireless infrastructure. All three amps are implemented in a gallium arsenide process, using a pHEMT transistor design.
The SKY67002-396LF is intended for 1,.6 to 2.1 GHz high linearity applications; the SKY67003-396LF is designed for 2.0 to 3.0 GHz high linearity applications; while the SKY67102-396LF is intended for 2.0 to 3.0 GHz ultra-low-noise applications. All three amps offer excellent return loss, and are manufactured in QFN packages. The LNAs are designed with an on-chip active bias for extreme stability.
